Yes, when advancements are made they usually advance things. Back then it was to create the convenience of not having to go to a library and search through a book. This is just further created convenience, and we will adapt to it, the curriculums will change to be more complex and we’ll have to get smarter.
AI is definitely a useful tool, but it’s easy to abuse. you can use AI in a way that helps you without having it do everything for you but usually that’s not the case because people get lazy. i know people who are passing med school cause they are using AI to practically do it for them and that’s scary. sure it’s not gonna go away, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t know how to use it properly so you’re actually using your brain and learning things
