Why is having friends so bad? When I see people with lots of friends I think it just means they’re well rounded and fit into a lot of social groups which is honestly a desirable trait

It’s find to have a lot of acquaintances or people you’re friendLY with but to call everyone your friend. To me is a red flag. It makes your friendship cheap and a friend to all is a friend to none.
