I would be willing to take this particular post at face value / in good faith if it existed in a vacuum, but when this concept is suddenly being invoked on a daily basis then it’s obvious something fishy is going down

the fact that you aren’t crashing out or even really getting defensive leads me to believe that you aren’t personally responsible for the extent to which this has become Trending Discourse, at least it’s just the background context of seeing this concept brought up several days in a row—when it’s objectively not that common of a phenomenon—that has me raising an eyebrow

usually this is the case, but I’m pretty sure I was wrong this time. OP of the post I quoted has a totally different attitude / demeanor than the other person I’d responded to on this subject
