This is the exact reason I just left everyone close to me and live as a hermit now

career at this point in this economy” (she has no career mind you) my other friend just left me on read when I told her the news & my half brother who’s always been very competitive didn’t even ask what I was going to school for. I live alone & haven’t seen him in a year. He came over to my place for 10 min & was eager to leave. Why can’t people in my life ever be happy for me?? This is a common theme I’ve noticed.

I’m getting to this point. I’m ready to distance myself from a lot of people & just focus on my future. I always clap & show up for other people’s wins. It just seems like everyone else around me is allowed to be successful but when I win in anyway it rubs people the wrong way.
