Oh easily a velvet worm. I found it in Ecuador so it’s not local to here but it’s my favorite animal and I’d spent YEARS looking for them whenever I was in a country that had them. They’re part of their own phylum, they squirt glue, and have little social hierarchies.

nice I caught some fireflies last time I went camping it was pretty cool, they were my little night light
