Remote work is so hard to find

Remote work is basically dead. My girl did it for a while. Loved it. Got so used to it that she struggled a lot to go back to the office. But unless you got some great experience and/or particular skills and a company in NYC is wanting you so bad they’ll let you be remote, then there’s a slim chance you’ll get it.

Start an OF. Just hide your face if that makes you uncomfortable.

Well I’ll take that slim chance because I have a baby and I can’t do anything else.

Thank you so much!! If she was a little older I’d just have family baby sit but I really feel she’s too little to be without me for hours right now

Those early years are extremely formative for the relationship! It’s time you’ll never get back. Wish I had some kind of advice to help but we hit a dead end ourselves on jobs that would replace the income from the in office job.
