… I’m a woman and I honestly can’t figure out what your problem is. As long as he’s washing it he’s fine. Do you not expect him to shower before you do it anyway? And are you really doing it bare with a man in this day and age? Damn girl you’re risking it for the biscuit and I don’t think you really want that biscuit.
The author of the study is incredibly intelligent and she does amazing work. It's the largest study/survey ever done of its kind I believe. I'm really sorry you've had negative experiences but purposefully choosing to ignore the data so you can generalize men is not it :/ I hope you get better experiences in the future!
I thank you for your article & look forward to reading it! Op you sound younger than me and it’s absolutely your prerogative to not go out with someone who watches porn if you don’t want to, but I’d also like to give you another perspective: the manosphere has a segment of men extremely anti-porn & not all of them are trying to “go their own way”. It sounds like you need to focus on a man that is communicative and focused on your needs, and from my own perspective some of them have toys…
And some of them also enjoy watching porn. What a communicative man does enjoy is getting their partner off. They want to know what you like and are… enthusiastic about making it happen. Some of them also read romance novels rather than watching a scene they like the build up of the relationship paired with the erotica (those tend to get more common as you get older). All I’m saying is, just not having a man who watches porn or has any toys doesn’t mean he’ll care about your pleasure.
What you described about looking at things and communicating our likes through shared erotica, written or visual has been exactly something that's happened to me in former relationships to communicate desires, like for example "I want to show you this position" simple stuff, it can be really fun to talk and try together. Sometimes they'll mention some spicy role play stuff from their book and we communicate about that for what they want to try. I've absolutely used this communication strategy!
