The older I get the more I realize that people don’t give a shit. Like they can see someone struggling and losing their damn mind in front of them and are like “Well you never said anything” then MFs be like why are people so sad or banned s word or etc

Tbh I've learned that a lot of this time, this is because we're largely taught these days, as a society, to "mind your own business" or "focus on you". Or, they don't want to make their own life more complicated and/ or difficult by taking on that person's burdens too. Or, the bystander effect is a thing too, where people think "surely someone else will step in." Lots of factors here, many of the bullshit tbh.
