It’s in our constitution to have freedom of speech. Why have it be our first rule of US society if we can’t exercise it properly? People sue all the time over breaks with the constitution and Jimmy Kimmel has a right to do that too and probably should. Would be a huge fiasco though. Only thing he risks is his reputation

But what could he even sue for? If ABC doesn’t like what he’s saying, and it’s in the contract, he can’t sue for anything. It’s like why you can’t say the F bomb on the news.

They didn’t like you saying the F bomb so they released you. It’s like CNN and all these other news places that when someone talks opposing talking points they won’t be on there much longer. Are they also silencing someone’s right to free speech? Or is it they just don’t like what they’re saying?

There’s a big difference between mocking people who actually state facts and mocking people who are pathological liars, misinformers, and/or gaslighters. The latter is justified which I hope you see.

Where this administration got a foothold is that we once had factual people mocking each other which is playful banter in politics. Now we have liars actually winning against people who just state facts. They exploited a playful just system into what’s now an all out frenzy on WTF reality actually is. Now that’s wild to me

I mean people cutting out of parts of quotes Charlie made is also being a liar. Like the gun one. He later mention cars and car accidents. Same with the daughter one. It was his own personal opinion and he said if there were no medical related issues for his daughter. Those pieces were not shown which in my eyes is lying because you’re using it to paint an image how you want it to

Not saying Trump etc doesn’t do it but you can’t call someone a liar and then go lie yourself and not expect pushback. Do I agree with Charlie’s thing no but he said no medical issues. Which means if his daughter’s life was at risk they’d abortion the baby. Something people leave out

I agree that cherry picking is a deceitful approach to deceive people but cherry picking facts is still derived from truth, what’s real. What Trump and others do is cherry pick from thin air. It’s mostly not grounded in reality. They say often their statements are facts but they’re actually not 😂 Like how much more stupid can a person get? Anyways this is about Kimmel and his show. I think my point was made about that at least

But is it really the truth? He said the words but do you know why he said it. The why is more important. Like his DEI hired thing and wondering if a POC is qualified. He wants them to be qualified 100% but because of DEI hiring quotas it’s like well why were you hired. Which because we have that question now it creates doubts etc. While prior to that it was oh they’re qualified no questions asked

Which again I know there’s more to DEI than hiring obviously, and he even said its intent was good etc. But back then say we had a black pilot and DEI didn’t exist. Other than qualifications, there’s no reason for why they hired them. You can’t question it Heck an old white lady😂 some make the assumption they’re slow or that they were just hired because they had to meet a quota. Question her qualifications because of those quotas

That’s what Charlie was trying to say. Because I’ve been through that where I’m like well was I denied because I’m white or was a denied because of qualifications. And these quotas do exist so it’s not like it’s make belief lol. So he was saying yes it had good intent but at the same time, it has created this issue of questioning qualifications etc.

He helped make abortion illegal in all forms so his argument was no longer valid but his point was he would be willing to put his daughters life in danger and change the course of it entirely for his ego. That’s the fucked up bit. The disregard for human life and the lack of empathy towards fellow countrymen. We have no loyalty to the people it’s only to our respective political teams. Frankly it’s disgusting the hold the billionaire class has on us to divide us and force us into their agenda.

And on the DEI bit, you have to meet certain qualifications to apply to any job. Experience matters more and if you interview well it doesn’t matter what skin you wear today. DEI has helped countless companies flourish across the country. Saying it’s just to hire a certain quota diminishes the fact that companies with at least 25% diversity in their upper leadership on average generate 30% more revenue. DEI pays in dividends. Racism does not.

Didn’t know he was a member of the government. If I recall it was left up to the states and now the states themselves decide And if he’s providing more valid reasons then the opposition, who’s fault is that?
