people who believe or assume any living thing doesn’t feel pain scare me. even if it most likely doesn’t i would never treat an animal like it doesn’t feel pain just on the chance it does

okay wait ik this probably a dumb question but what abt bugs ik they feel pain but when i step on a bug is it like them suffering for a rlly long time or just instant lights out

Well i wanna start by saying that I don’t condone crushing bugs unless they’re an immediate threat. But it depends on the surface area. For a small ant their body is too small to be lights out so if you step on them they will be in pain for a while before they die, if they do die. If its a cockroach, as soon as you crush their head/nervous system, its lights out. It depends on the size

i’m very scared of bugs but i’m trying to be better abt catching and releasing them instead of killing them bc they’re just little guys who got lost why should they die just bc they took a wrong turn

We appreciate you! Again, if you’re allergic or the bug is trying to sting a baby, do what you must. But if you can catch and release that would be awesome
