I thought the 63% of men aged 18-29 were single statistic was fake but it’s from pew research center, it’s actually real.

What should it be, that’s almost half, that’s maybe not so bad. Could be worse

Yeah that sounds about right. Not many people are dating. People starring at a screen all day has messed people up!

Honestly after being new in the single world men have lost EVERY ability to talk to women. On top of that, women now typically make more money than the men their age. More women than men are home owners. Yet women want men who are financially and socially equivalent and it’s the first time in history where the number of men who fit that criteria are less than the number of women looking.

Fym could be worse, thats comically bad, women in the same age range are at half the rate and it is nearly 25% higher than the next highest group

Eh I suspect a lot of the women responding to that survey believe they are in a relationship but if you asked the other person you’d probably get a different story

I’m resigning myself to the fact that I will not find a socially competent, equally as ambitions and simultaneously attractive man who isn’t already married.

Are you sure those stats are right? Cause you guys have been a little iffy with your stats in the past. First y’all wanted a man who was +6’, made more than $100,000 a yr, and crazy head game. But then found out if you set your standards that high you would be eliminating 98% of the single male population. Now you are saying that women make more than men their age? And there are more single women home owners?

That’s a bold statement to make. I disagree with those stats. When did women surpass men in pay because last time I checked they were just complaining about not making as much as men. Unless you’re talking about OnlyFans models then that will boost the stats. But there’s a dark cloud approaching on the OnlyFans era that’s going to affect that market soon.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/06/12/single-women-own-more-homes-than-single-men-in-the-us-but-that-edge-is-narrowing/ That’s what pew research says as of 2023 at least.

Lol and antidotally speaking, every guy I have matched with on dating apps makes 20-40k less than me. I don’t have a cite for the salary but I did hear it somewhere and personally it feels true. lol.

I’m a nurse practitioner lol. I’m also working on a startup on the side but that’s not bring in income yet.

I think that's less to do with some grand societal gender paradigm shift, and more to do with just how the economy is right now - healthcare jobs (mostly women) booming, and tech jobs (mostly men) slacking
