Engaging in sexual & sex ed communities or conversations does not make receiving porn ads that take up my full screen randomly on an app where I am in over 30+ communities any less gross to randomly see.

Clearly not preference driven as I’ve tried to report them multiple times through service requests with no reply. Videos like that are not allowed to be posted on this app but now they are allowed in ads that you can’t report?

By bots I mean that yikyak actually has recognition software to downvote any posts discussing negative things about the app or encouraging people to use a competing platform. It’s a real thing, I’m not calling active users bots but like genuine bots.

Didn’t think “having unreportable ads with sexual content that would not be allowed to be posted is a bad thing” would be controversial babes. No matter how they decide why someone would see the ad more often than others, those ads just shouldn’t be on here.

It’s a free app, that’s how they keep It free, I’m sure there’s plenty of Christian apps that won’t blind you with porn

Dude. This is an app that is inclusive to minors and also, seeing random porn isn’t fun. You can put a million other kinds of ads to pay for an app without pornography. Or at least have a way to select “hide ad” or “report ad” or “stop showing this ad” 💀 it’s obviously a design flaw.

That’s 100% not true. I’m only in girl talk, hinge cringe and my school. I get them anyways. They just give them out to everyone because Yikyak makes money either way.
