slightly unrelated, but an RA being a complete asshole to me abt how she could “smell when men were on the floor” (to try to kick me out of my friend’s apartment, when my friend invited me over) was how I realized I was trans bc i was so upset/depressed over it that I turned it over in my head all night and morning before it finally clicked
