I went to the gastroenterologist, and she said I am constipated all the way down. How is that possible? Can you be constipated all the way down? Does anyone have good suggestions to help constipation, or has anyone else been in my situation?

For those saying more fiber - that itself can be the source of the constipation. Taking more makes the problem worse at this stage . If you’re in a healthy state, yes that is great to maintain movements. But there may be other issues - slow motility (essentially how fast your body processes and moves things through), not enough digestive enzymes being produced (so food is not being broken down effectively) or an underlying inflammatory gut issue (which I sadly have).

Take miralax. I take it every day and it saved my chronic constipation. It’s non habit forming so it’s fine to take every night Eat more fruits and veggies Hot water + move your body in morning

Worth trying like a sea salt and lemon juice blend for relief of the current situation (look up a mix online), definitely drink a LOT more water, but definitely work following back up with gastroenterology to determine what the root cause is and what changes to make to avoid it again.
