they say this about literally every type of diagnosis, tbf. when i was 13 i had medical specialists telling me that i would “outgrow” fucking rheumatoid arthritis… surprise, it only gets worse with age

Yea I think that was a bandaid for “we cant help you 😂” and since they legally cant say that they said that is teas

well no, they had me medicated and in physical therapy, so they already Were helping me in a substantial capacity. and it’s perfectly legal to say “this condition may require medicating for the rest of your life, you might not ever be totally symptom-free”. so it was a dishonest & counterproductive move on their part to talk like remission was an inevitability. don’t try to justify that please!
