What is the point if you can’t message the op? What if someone actually wants to reach out?

the point is for it to be anonymous and no strings attached so people are more prone to confessing what’s hard to send to those people or as a surprise, also leaves posts open to interpretation. sometimes the shoe might seem to fit and it’s not even a post by someone you know, sometimes it might be someone you know.
