It’s relative to different situations and contexts. Someone might react negatively to that statement in the case of Luigi for e.g. bc he killed one guy and it is being blown out of proportion due to the guy being rich, a notable person, and also because there were political motivations on Luigi’s behalf. So in that situation someone might argue “murder is bad (and Luigi deserves what’s coming” and it would make sense to argue back about that. Another case is abortion, where some people see
Blatant murder whilst others see a freedom of choice. In that case one would argue that it is not murder and there could be a disagreement there. And in some cases people, like #1, could argue some people are bad enough that they have it coming. Now in the context of the death penalty though, that’s a question of murder and whether the government can have power to decide whether someone lives or dies. Then there’s the context of war in which some people believe you can justify it.
