It is true, I learned this is several of my college classes. Women become educated on sex and learn about how to prevent pregnancies. Also, many people in developing countries have kids to help with chores around the house and with livestock. So, as intelligence increases, there tends to be better ag business and more job opportunities so ppl can afford to buy food rather than grow it. So less kids are needed. Also healthcare is usually better so less kids die
