as a woman who’s not conventionally attractive i’ve kinda had the opposite experience where no one really pays much attention to me so i don’t get a lot of negative interactions with guys. it’s kinda peaceful

Genuinely the worst part of college/school is getting paired with a dude for a project and they won’t even speak to you because you’re ugly 💀 I get it man I look like a labubu but work still gotta get done

I think this is the best way I let some down: It was clear that this girl was about to ask me out. I mean, extra make up, super nervous saying hi to me when we had had plenty of interactions without her being nervous. Plus, she came up to me. My new gf was visiting that weekend. So when she says hi all nervous I quickly said Hi. .. pause. Oh let me introduce you to my gf. You could see her features fall but I think it was the nicest way I could let her down.

Not disagreeing with you, but women do the same thing. Not saying there aren’t any creepy men, but there are quite a few who get labeled as creepy without really doing anything at all just because they aren’t attractive.
