Less LLM induced psychosis, easier to tell when a video or voice was real vs fake, no undermining the few sources of credible evidence we have for crimes or information, easier to recognize bots, easier for free sites to get revenue via clicks, fewer basic desk and entry level jobs at risk because bosses swap them for a program. It’s helped some ways but made other bad things even worse.

Also fucking this. Less people doing social or creative activities, swapping things that would help them think or engage with a bot doing it all for them. They have AI summing up text messages for people who don’t wanna bother reading what their friends say which is wild.

Idk I see people getting confused about AI vs real videos all the time which is really bad when it’s about important information, historical footage, politics, or crime. You already had to worry about videos being edited before and this has made it even worse.

Well kinda but religious wars, witch burnings, slavery, and genocides were also pretty fucked up lol. I def think social media algorithms have made political polarization much worse which is made even worse by only having 2 parties tho

George Washington in his farewell letter literally said do not have political parties because people will focus only on that and not the candidates qualities. Also yeah duh all those other stuff suck. I was just saying I hate political parties because of what’s going on now

My bad I’m being too literal lol. But yeah I don’t think you can have a democracy without political parties but having only two is a VERY bad idea and extremely limiting.

Maybe it’s possible. All I know is that the government implemented our current constitution in 1789 and we had our first political party 3 years later in 1792. There were probably a lot of factors involved in that but not even lasting 3 years without them doesn’t give me much faith in not having them at all.
