Pretty much all 21 years I’ve been told that my birth father was Mexican. But my DNA results that I got back this morning Tell a different story… being adopted is so crazy sometimes😂 I guess there was a few guys around the time of my conception😅

69% European (expected), and 1.2% indigenous American (made sense since I’ve heard that I’m related to Pocahontas), and then 29.8% African (which is probably why I thought I was Mexican since I’m not super dark but I get reallyyy tan in summer)

“Mexican” is just a mix of European and indigenous

Yeah, which is funny cause it shifts the balance in my family. 7 kids (all adopted with white mothers) but 5 of us are biracial, so I thought we were a little more diverse then it’s turning out to be lol

I almost don’t want to because I don’t want to be disappointed and many other reasons. But I don’t wanna trauma dump. Happy you figured your lineage out!
