It’s not their fault there was an accident, however they *could* have still been breaking road safety law by failing to allow a safe legal pass (in most states, you legally must yield to a passing vehicle)

Any fender bender is the person who hits fault. I only know cause I was in one at 1 mile and hour and got a ticket. There are a lots of dumb laws

Well yes, but insurance looks at other factors when issuing pay outs and liability claims. And also in general, don’t break the law to piss someone off
