parents love to act like they’re doing you a favor for doing the bare minimum that they’re required by law to do…..

Yeah, I hate myself because that’s exactly what I said when a friend of mine confided to me they are depressed. ….. we don’t talk anymore. While I do admit the blame I would like to say it’s also cause your mom is human too and has no clue what to say to make you feel better.
