yes anyone on their knees essentially calling themselves a man’s bitch is confident in herself!
Some of yall upset at Sabrina carpenter’s album cover don’t understand that it’s not a step back in feminism. It’s a step forward. She is confident and happy in her body. She is doing, as a woman, something she wants without second thought.

I think the album cover was meant to be ironic. She seems to have a back and forth of hating and loving men. Damning her for it now seems… needlessly judgmental?

nothing wrong with being a man’s bitch as long as it’s consensual

her entire demographic of fans is young women. nothing about that album cover was ironic, frankly it was fucking dehumanizing and an insult to the women who support her. should’ve known after all that Olivia Rodrigo drama that Sabrina carpenter was always marketing for the BOYS

kids being in her demographic of fans is not her fault??? she doesn’t market to children, her songs are clearly sexual. if children are listening to her it’s their parents fault

I feel like this is a bit of an overreaction. Just a little bit. She’s just a woman that took a risqué picture and put it on her album cover. Maybe I’m way off.

I don’t have an issue with the risqué picture itself… it’s the “man’s best friend” accompanied with her posed like a dog. how do you not see the issue with that when women are constantly called bitches??

why are you taking a problem with sabrina who is posing herself like that consensually and not taking a problem with the men who calling women bitches without their consent. sabrina is just having fun, that’s not wrong

I don’t feel it’s my place to police her. If she wants to allude to calling herself a bitch that’s her prerogative. If she went on idk Jimmy Kimmel or something and was like “All women are bitches” I’d take umbrage with that.

I do take problem with those men and I take issue with women like Sabrina who play into that narrative and normalize it which hurts other women in the process. which is why women don’t like “pick mes”

sabrina is literally one woman. she’s famous yes, but she’s not the president, she’s not a politician. she is allowed to be herself and if men can’t differentiate between sabrina and literally every other woman on the planet that is 100% the fault of those men. you need to start holding men accountable and stop expecting women to gentle parent them into being respectful

no one said gentle parent anyone! I do hold men accountable! unlike your fave who is willing to throw her entire gender h see the bus and degrade her womanhood for! some! dick!

How did she go from taking a risqué picture to throwing women under the bus for dick. Whose dick? What women? These hyperboles and hypotheticals feel very unnecessary. I really hope you see how the issue is being exaggerated at the expense of one woman that just did a thing she thought was fun.

Why do you continue to belittle my entire point and reasoning into “she took one little picture” when I repeatedly explained I saw no issue with the picture itself and instead with the entirety of how the album cover was presented? I find the phrasing “Man’s best friend” to be one of the most derogatory statements I’ve seen about women in the recent decade and it’s disappointing that it came from a women herself. I dont understand why any women would do that unless to pander to men and male gaze

I’m not belittling your point. I’m keeping it in perspective. You’re saying she’s doing much more than what she actually did. You’re 100% allowed to be offended by it. Your reasoning for being offended is valid but let’s keep what was actually done in scope.

you are though :) at least respond to my pint then instead of brushing it off. I didn’t say she did anything more than she did. I said she called her album “man’s best friend” am I wrong? Is that not fact? you just keep sticking by the it was just a pic argument bffr

I will remind you that you said she called women bitches and threw them under the bus for dick. When in reality, she took a picture and alluded to herself as being a bitch with the album title. No one said anything about bitches in the real world. That’s what I’m talking about. We’re making leaps here. I mean, I think you know that. I get your point though.
