eh, ordinarily I might raise an eyebrow at the word choice too, but it’s pretty clear from context that OP doesn’t mean “hate” in a malicious sense, just that they don’t like being around ‘em there’s really nothing wrong with not wanting to be around babies as long as you’re still pleasant & good-natured with them when they’re near you

tbh in my experience using the word hate is just easier than saying i resent the societal expectation for women to be maternal, have kids, and become mothers. i also just don’t really get much enjoyment out of being around them tbh. like they’re loud and gross and not very cute for the most part lol
