It’s the same reason (🚨🚨‼️‼️SOME‼️🚨‼️🚨) white women love getting dark ass tans. It’s about taking or presenting the asthetics of blackness or coloredness while also being of the upper class (or race in this context) it’s a very real phenomenon. Black people are objects and they want something for black bodies (dark complexion for example). It is the epitome of racism and the complete ownership of other humans. They admire the black identity but do not see them as people with autonomy.
