This is where I was 8 years ago. Don’t sign the lease again. Do all your research while your working or when she isn’t home. Have your move out date ready and slowly pack things over time.

I shouldn’t have to leave my nice apartment that I’ve lived in for 4 years. She’s broke and has nowhere to go. I’m here month to month right now so technically I could leave at any time. I have pics of the times she has scratched and hit me, but she could make up some bullshit

Get some guy friends to help you move your stuff. They’re basically witnesses to back you up if/when shit hits the fan. You could even tell the cops what you’re doing, so if they’re called theres some history.

Yeah, man I know it sucks. But same situation for me. Lived with a squatter and couldn’t get her out and she destroyed my shit/left marks on me. I’d find an even nicer apt or something equivalent to it and leave. You could file a restraining order but it seems this is the kind of bitch who would have a psychotic breakdown and use it to her advantage to keep staying with you.
