Right. He didn’t say that. He said that when he sees a black person in a high ranking position, it is always because of affirmative action. He said he wouldn’t get on a plane with a black pilot. He said MLK was not a good guy, the civil rights act was a mistake. Yall trying to defend racism by saying he’s just critiquing affirmative action is comical. Your ancestors will judge you and so will i
That systemic racism stands in the way of earning some jobs traditionally not allowed to them. Again, he’s talking about the BRAIN PROCESSING. That’s eugenics to believe one race is inherently worse than the other. Dems believe people are equal and social structures make it to where you have to help some more than others. Try again.
Here’s an argument. You can’t make a claim about someone’s character based off a quote that is not the original speakers thoughts and beliefs. If you actually looked at the world around you, you would see that the things you say aren’t actually true and you’re blinded by your biases
Thank you for actually making an argument. I genuinely appreciate it. No jokes. I can base someone’s character based on what they have said. If you say that black women have inferior brains to white men, that’s racist. And I’m gonna judge him for it. While yes society has become far less openly racist, it is not gone by any means. There are plenty of people, like Kirk and his supporters, who believe white people are being replaced by “low iq” non whites. And those people hold power.
I don’t celebrate anyone’s death. I’m not going to mourn the death of a bad person tho. Best wishes to his family. We can’t act like Kirk wasn’t a professional agitator. You can’t make a career off of calling people low iq monkeys and saying all Dems are Satan and then be surprised people are not mourning you.
It’s not a one time thing. If it quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. If you make a career making degrading comments about black people and women, you’re a racist. I understand context and quotes. His rhetoric was racist. His rhetoric is that black people have had nothing but good since the end of slavery and it is their fault, or their father’s fault for any economic or social problems in the black community.
Bruh I read Wikipedia for fun. I read Fox News more than I read cnn and I don’t touch msnbc. I read foreign media. I have a political science degree. I don’t follow anyone’s agenda except my fucking own. Charlie Kirk was a racist, he spread racism under the guise of “free speech” and the Republican Party (which has attracted southern white since the 60’s) supported Kirk because of his ability to speak white nationalist talking points and some people enjoy it.
All the dumbasses taking the quote out of context. I don’t even like Kirk but if you see the whole clip and have above middle school comprehension skills, he is clearly saying that black women who have publicly said “I wouldn’t be where I am today without DEI” reads like “I don’t have the processing power…I had to take a slot” 🤦
He reads it like that. What those black women were saying is that they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to get in those positions because of SYSTEMIC RACISM. You really think Kirk was just saying that black women think that about themselves??? That’s wild af. It’s clearly what Kirk thought
I mean, I liked him because he spoke against abortion, had conversations why, and actually didn’t spread racism? Everything I heard from him regarding people of color wasn’t racist and he was actually very kind to them. Now the belief they should have been sent back to their own country? That’s an interesting take. I don’t really agree with that. But above all, he was a Christian and wasn’t sexist, just very firm in the belief that men should be the head of the house, which is Biblical.
Not to mention, the way slavery was intended to be in Bible times isn’t the same as America made it. America singled out a race as “inhuman”, counting them as less than. In the Bible it says over and over “slaves, obey your earthly masters” and “masters, be just and fair to your slaves, remember that you too have a master in heaven”.. just very different
