Well I can feel justified in doing things that I'm confident will benefit me by keeping me alive or bringing me happiness, and I extend that to others. But I struggle with optional choices for my life that don't have an obvious ethical or selfish right answer (to me). Choosing a career or a fashion sense feels pretty arbitrary to me. Same with the value of following societal expectations or having skills. I'm indifferent to too many things and I have a logical "gotcha" for most assumptions.

You’re a little smart cookie with too much free time. I’m curious to know, why do you feel like you’ll have to justify yourself for the optional choices you make?

Sometimes I just pick a choice but I don't enjoy not being confident in it
