just seen someone say asexuality is caused by SSRIs. attraction and sex drive are not the same thing u guys🫩

How can you be sure of that? What if someone naturally low sex drive (not caused by SSRIs) so they’re not sexually attracted to people?

Srsly it’s like SSRI deletes the instinct so the “need” for it is no longer there.

they are separate things. you don’t need to have a high sex drive to be sexually attracted to people. personally i’m the opposite so i can’t speak for people in that situation exactly. but one is just physical, it comes from nothing but your own body. the other is social and emotional

It’s possible for someone to be both asexual and have a low sex drive, but they’re not the same thing
