Religious man here: I think the emphasis from men is often short-sighted. Per scripture, Man is to love his wife like Christ loved the church. Christ died for the Church. How many men do you really know that would sacrifice their life for their wife? Additionally, scripture teaches that men in charge have greater consequence and accountability towards God. How many men do you know who take this seriously?
