
Nope. Not true. You’re not a medical professional so you don’t know shit. I’m 5’3. I used to weigh 83 pounds. I was on the verge of organ failure and nearly died twice. Now I’m 160 and actually healthy. I eat well and exercise and actually have energy. You don’t know peoples health or story. If you wanna be skinny do it but shut up abt other people
Genetics play a large role, if I eat in a calorie deficit my body holds onto fat more because it thinks a famine is coming on and unless I’m in such a severe calorie deficit I struggle to think then I can’t lose weight, pretty much my entire family is this way too so, we eat very healthy and appropriate amounts and our bodies just hold onto fat to more fat
I wasn’t expecting to jump into a conversation like this but I just wanted to echo this because genetics are such a huge factor. I have an autoimmune disease and I hold onto fat like winter is coming. I eat great and am very active too, but I will always have more body fat than others at my weight and height. It really sucks because people just assume I’m lazy or love eating. And these things are so much more common than we realize, matter of fact I bet all of us know multiple people with these
