It definitely can be bad in situations where someone makes tone-deaf comments or assumptions, or acts entitled to certain things just because of how they grew up. But being privileged in itself is obviously no fault of that person. It becomes a problem if they’re an adult and havent made effort to broaden their awareness.

Yeah this is what I meant! Some girl randomly told my friend when she asked her summer plans my friend is going to Switzerland to see her family so this girl was like “acknowledge your privilege that’s not fair for everyone else” and my friend was like I’m very lucky fs! And the girl was like if not everyone can do it you can’t so I think that part is dumb
