I used to be a conservative and now I’m very liberal, but I feel guilty about who I used to be and the thoughts I used to have, I never voted for trump but was very pro-him now I hate trump but feel so bad, should I forgive myself?

Why were you pro-Trump like as a conservative I never liked him. He’s not a conservative in any form of the word or a republican like he’s a grifter. What attracted you to him?

You’re chilling dude, a lot of media influences you towards certain ideals, and sites like youtube and Reddit and instagram can be an echo chamber

Everyone around me felt the same way so I never questioned it, I was against a lot of LGBT stuff and super pro life, I am the total opposite now but at the time it felt safe to be ignorant.

lol I just find the lgbt switch so interesting amongst individuals because why did you care so much? I have never cared about what consenting adults did in the bedroom I think. Minding my house is important. What about LGBT was your business, what did you question? I’m glad you are facing yourself realizing you weren’t on the correct side of morality.

I always knew being gay was fine. I never truly cared but my community did which made me feel like I had to hide and say I was against it. While watching drag queens in the middle of the night on YouTube because I was worried someone would know I supported it. Also being a Christian I was told it was wrong, which now I don’t agree with.
