Haven’t talked to a friend in a while & she said “omg I almost forgot about you” that kinda hurt my feelings so I told her it took me a minute to recognize her name when it popped up (it genuinely did) then she got offended. Was I wrong to say that?

I think you shouldn’t be friends with each other. If she is forgetful and you meet it with pettiness instead of grace, you’re both the asshole

It just felt like she was trying to be shady. She’s made weird comments like this before so I was over it lol. I’ll admit my response wasn’t mature but who tells someone that.
