I think you might be looking more for a bi dude. I’m all for that kind of stuff within context. Like if my future daughter wants to paint my nails, I’m all for it. But do I want to have that as my fashion choice? Not really.

I’d suggest communicating and finding other things to bond over and not nail painting.. maybe more like legos, puzzles, painting, hikes, drives, movies, massages…

Idk why he has a problem about nail painting? I’m not OP, I just assume most guys really don’t like getting their nails painted but there can be plenty of other things to do
