I want both tbh. I want marriage because it may not be guaranteed, and a good job to support that marriage (even though a good job is also not guaranteed)

I think getting a good job first is more important, marriage is a huge deal and since it can end in divorce for a lot of early couples, it should not be the thing you prioritize

I do agree, and I definitely want a good job. And yes marriage is a huge deal. But my issue is that I’m gay and so the right to marry is not guaranteed for me. It might disappear, especially with this current administration. So I’d rather do it sooner rather than later while I still have the right to do so
