Or… Most people did not vote for the person they believed was the “best” candidate. People elected a national poison-pill, on purpose. You don’t elect nazis because of who you think they’re better than someone else. Their mandate is not to be better. It’s to be worse (to people you hate), and they deliver

Democracy is mob rule. We are not a democracy. Which is part of the reason we have the electoral college.

What have half of its citizens done for me to like them? Genuinely, what is there to celebrate? “Freedom”? The idea that the United States is the only country that has freedom is just simply untrue. If you think I have to be proud of my government just because I was born here and have no other choice than to continue living here, you’re delusional.
