No literally I can’t keep depleting my savings I need money, it’s been getting hard to pay for stuff. My mom thinks I’m not trying.

I get this 100% everyone says they’re hiring I applied to 30 places at least and either got ghosted or rejected WITH 3+ years experience in stocking and cashiering and experience in fast food. Like it’s ridiculous how these companies keep the we’re hiring shit up to make themselves look better. Better yet when I finally got a job that I was forced to take BC IT WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT RESPONDED they hit me with shitty $13 an hour pay and I’m still stuck there

Places that are almost always hiring to help your search: Hospitals/medical centers, especially custodial staff/grounds keepers (nursing homes also) Law enforcement (gotta go through the academy but they pay for it as long as you work there for at least 1-2 years) Walmart (fast turnover, also super sucky to work for while you’re there but it puts food on the table while you look for more stability)

I have applied to so many jobs I tell them I have open availability I can start immediately still don’t get the job. I fix my resume still don’t get the job. I call email still don’t get the job like wtf do they want from us

Follow up by walking in with a copy of your resume and dressed nicely/professionally. Isn’t a guarantee but it helps.

Fair actually, this is also the worst time of year to apply bc the fiscal year ends in July so they may genuinely not have money left/approval for new hires until after it restarts

If you don’t have a record you could always try ECE (early childhood education), daycares always need more staff for the summer. Just required a background check. Could also look into your districts substitute teaching requirements for the fall. Education is always lacking people

I was doing good for a few months but then got laid off around the same time as my sisters. One of my sisters has 2 degrees and experience no work since November 😩 like what is it gonna take ? how much longer???
