The problem is there’s a significant number of women who will literally not even entertain a guy who is under 6 ft (which is crazy IMO as a woman who lovessss a short king btw) but like of course there’s incentive to exaggerate their height when it’s a well known fact that a lot of women immediately think less of shorter dudes (sadly)
Genuinely no idea. I am 5’5 and proud of it, and if a girl isn’t interested in me because of my height I wouldn’t want to entertain her anyways. And I hit the gym so I’ve always been able to life and carry my partners quite easily despite height and weight differences in the past :)
Well I agree lying is bad, all things that are bad are bad. But things can be perceived in the light of love. Are you not religious? Or philosophical? You ever taken a psychedelic drug? Well there’s a lesson about love, in all those things depending on what you get it from and how.
I haven’t downvoted a single one of your comments. Nor has my facial expression changed on this thread. I can’t say the same for you. I don’t like liars, but I can attempt to understand and validate them while also keeping them away from myself. Because, if there’s one thing about being human. It’s that we all make mistakes and we learn.
It’s like the same logic, of beating your animals is wrong. Even if your dog chews up something, beating them down and spreading more hate doesn’t fix the issue. I think it’s good to calmly reject that person, and ask them to be more transparent instead of shaming them for their height.
Well i never mentioned romanticizing lying lol. All I did was give an explanation on why they might’ve lied, not a justification an explanation. Told you that, love is the way, and that you should treat them with respect but not let them have their way. Meaning you reject the liar, but give them some advice of being more confident in themselves or something, especially if you enjoyed talking to them.
I wouldn’t say makeup is a form of lying specifically because if someone asked if I had makeup on I’d say yes. I don’t care if they know. Same with the lifts. Yeah a man can wear them but don’t go around saying you’re 6’2 to possible dates when you’re wearing four inch lifts or platforms.
