That’s valid. However it’s a common thing that if a woman brings up that she was abused in the relationship, the guy then listens to weak parts of her and uses it against her later on. My experience, not everyone’s I get it. But after the 4th time it happened, I just say my last relationship was mutually parted.

Guys can definitely be manipulative and predatory. I just think the question itself is looking for a lack or presence of accountability. That’s why I said it was valid. However the timing left much to be desired if I’m honest. He should’ve had more class and social acumen 🤦🏻‍♂️

That’s what worries me! My past relationship was filled with abuse, physically and mentally and was so extremely toxic. Of course not all men are going to use it against you, but one of my friends always tells me “never tell a man how poorly you were treated before because they’re going to think they can treat you the same and get away with it”

I’m so sorry love. I definitely come from that background and it’s why I’m so damn picky and mean to men now lol. But yes, that’s what a guy friend did say to me too after he had to pick me up off the side of the road because a date left me after I wouldn’t sleep with him.
