first of all, i do actually care about the victims in that shooting. wtf would i care about upvotes?? 🤨 secondly, in an article i read this morning, posted literally an hour after it happened, it said 2 people were confirmed dead. now that i’ve had time to go back and check updates, i see that 3 people were wounded and there are no confirmed deaths. i can admit i had faulty info. but trust, i wouldn’t just make something like that up

Unfortunately, it *is* relevant that the death of a right wing public figure has triggered national mourning and attention. Meanwhile, Evergreen victims that are children, aren’t famous, wealthy, or part of the conservative media machine are almost treated as…expected casualties.

I just feel a little confused, - if this is about respecting those we’ve lost, I’m not sure why you only mentioned Mr. Kirk’s name and not the children as well. The fact that you haven’t expressed any sadness or said a single word of care about those kids makes it… look less than great. It kind of made it sound like you don’t actually care about all victims ‘getting the respect they deserve’ - just Mr. Kirk? And complaining about upvotes or downvotes makes this seem even more disrespectful.
