that’s just a term created back when there were prehistoric fertility cults and creation myths. women have more to do with the creation of offspring, but that doesn’t mean the majority of parental responsibility should be on them. this kinda rhetoric is why there are so many dead beat dads, and shitty trad dads who don’t connect with their kids bc they think it’s the woman’s job. we have progressed as a society, we aren’t primitive animals.
