I am, but I would never talk about this. Anyone I tell would just want me to leave. They don’t get it.

your therapist is payed to understand. tell them not just the bad stuff but also all the things you love about your partner. sometimes abusive behaviors can be relearned into something more healthy.

It’s already been almost a decade, I don’t expect the pattern to vary too much at this point.
