the whole plot is that he isn’t gay and that it’s an accurate depiction of lgbtq people during that time people. unrequited love.

Yeah that makes sense. Its just weird that ppl want it so bad to be true when mike is literally not gay at all. Ive been seeing ppl say that netflix is homophobic and the last season sucked because they didnt let byler happen and i was just confused cuz i never saw it happening in the first place. I would have preferred him to find someone who actually likes him because mike is lowkey a bad friend
