There’s different kinds of maps for different kinds of navigation

You’d look at the street names on the map. Then look at street signs to figure out where you are on the street you’re on

Yes, the emoji one. Like when people were driving out the hell were people using those squiggles of the road I don’t even know how to read one when I’m not driving or follow one. How did people do that?

Yea there’s a different kind for road trips, it’s basically the same way you do it on your phone except instead of the app drawing out the route, you draw it out yourself and note where to exit and turn and onto which roads lol it was tedious but actually kinda fun
