Honestly sometimes I hate people for being so stupid, but at the same time I envy them. Ignorance is bliss, also why smarter people struggle with mental illness, aware of the harsh truths of reality in everything. The grass will always be greener on the other side.

I have empathy. I just don’t like kids. They annoy me. I can not like something and tolerate its existence at the same time. My sister has two kids. Do I like spending time with them? No. Do I still get them gifts for their birthday? Yes.

I agree. Nothing wrong with being dumb. Just don’t do it around me; I get annoyed. It’s like if there’s a bucket of ice water around. I personally don’t want to put my face in it or dump it over my head. I don’t want to get wet at all, but it’s necessary for all sorts of things for people that aren’t me. Me not liking that bucket of ice water does not affect it in any way. Nor does telling people I don’t like that bucket of ice water and that ice water is stupid prevent people from getting one.
