if you can’t exist alone then you shouldn’t be with someone

It’s true… but it doesn’t make it any less lonely. The reality is people want to be understood by a close friend or partner—but it takes a lot of time and effort putting yourself out there to meet that person or build the relationship. And many people are quite shallow anymore, it’s a little difficult to establish that level of trust.
