i think it's equivalent to becoming a right wing grifter bc things didn't work out in your chosen field (music, film, twitch streaming, etc)

Now here’s my question, if I have a friend group who is okay with racist jokes and I am a female who also makes them, does this still apply?

idk i guess it depends on your motivation for making the racist jokes. an outsider would probably be better able to determine whether you are making them because you hold genuine racist beliefs or because you think there's some social or pecuniary advantage to voicing racist sentiments. usually if the group is majority male and the men in the group are racist, i might assume the female in the group is being racist in a pick me way unless ik her to be authentically racist

We make the jokes but have no tolerance for anyone being serious about it in any way. So I guess it kinda doesn’t apply :<
