No child should feel this fear but no parent should think that doing what they did was right. They put their family in this predicament, there is more nuance to this situation. But they knew the consequences even in the 2010’s, 2000’s and 90’s as this has always been going on. They chose to run this risk of being caught, civil infraction or not the adults bear the burden.

If the law is so damn important to you, why don’t you care about ICE arresting people without warrants, killing people in custody, arresting US citizens and Native Americans, tear gassing and zip tying children, assaulting peaceful protestors, raping women in custody, arresting immigrants without warrants proper documentation, forcing people to testify without a lawyer, etc. Why does a misdemeanor matter so fucking much to you but systemic rape, murder, child abuse, and kidnapping is okay?

Have no issues n no issues with what’s going on. Maybe you need to turn that around and look at yourself. Assuming your parents have a mirror in the basement. I’m not getting twisted over a kids letter that may or may not be real. May or may not be at risk of being deported. They might just be a scared kid and not know they are not even at risk.

Everything I mentioned comes from literal court cases, recorded evidence, and even ICE’s own admission. And yes, you do need a warrant to enter people’s homes or vehicles and search/arrest someone. You clearly don’t know our constitution. And if all you can do is defend the actions of your president is point to another president who hasn’t been in office for over a decade, then your president is terrible.
